Varkala Beats is a very well run place in a street with not much traffic. No temple noise, either. They are further away. Chandy has eye for details thus everything is available you may need and more. He is also very helpful in case you wonder where to go, what to see.
My room was comfortable, with my own large bathroom. I could sit on the large terrace and also hang my clothes to dry there. A small supermarket is nearby. I walked to the beach, as well.
The kitchen is well equipped in case self catering is your thing.
I liked everything at Varkala Beats and would happily return.

it was a wonderful stay with love, care, comfort & memories. the host was very kind and helpful, provided all the necessary details also helped in arranging the rental bike at the stay itself.Rooms were very cosy , clean and comfortable with all the necessary items for daily use. would love to stay again in future.

The room was spacious, airy and neat with comfortable beds. The terrace space is a very relaxing place to unwind and overall it felt like our own home. Thanks to the host, he took special care to guide us to the best places for our food taste (fish especially) and the lesser known spots to explore in Varkala.

Chandy Thomas, the host, went out of his way to make me feel at home. I noticed he has a knack to identify when to check on his guests and when to afford them privacy.
Also, the place is spotless, and the terrace balcony space with a cane swing is awesome to chill at.
I highly recommend Varkala Beats, especially for solo travellers and small groups. I have no complaints.
