This was a great experience overall - it was so much fun coming out into the desert, and experiencing camel rides and quad bikes in the dunes. The view from the camp is beautiful. The rooms are huge and the bed is very comfortable. The food was pretty good for being out in the desert, and they did have some variation across the two nights. The staff were consistently friendly and happy to share their knowledge.
There is not a lot of transparency around pricing with any of the Merzouga camps, which frustrated us when trying to book. They also run under different names, so other people at the same camp with us had not booked under the name ‘Luna Luxury Camp’. You have to pay separately for transport to the camp: €60 per person for camel (return by jeep), €80 for quad bikes (return by camel or jeep), and €50 for jeep (both ways). We did feel this was worth it - these were some of our favourites parts of the experience. If you come during the summer, beware that it is extremely hot - it got up to 43 degrees while we were there. There is no included cooling in the rooms - none of the rooms have fans, and if you want aircon it is €30 extra per night, and they only turn it on between 8-9pm and then turn it off between 7-8am so there is a lot of time spent just sweltering. There are only two tiny mobile aircons in the dining area, so it is also very hot there. There are also sandstorms at night this time of year, and the people riding the camels into camp got stuck in the storms both nights we were there. Drinks are not included, but soft drinks/soda are only €2 each. It looks as though you can bring your own alcohol to drink if you want (we didn’t personally), but I imagine there is a corkage fee. Drinking water is free. It is only “all inclusive” if you are staying one night, as they don’t actually provide lunch. Maybe in cooler months they might, but we were told we couldn’t stay at the camp during the day as there is no cooling during the day, so we went back to Merzouga and to a nearby Riad to access their pool for the day (€5-7 for the day). You can also do one of the camp’s activities during the day - buggy adventure (1 hour, €120 for two people) or sightseeing tour (4 hours, €50 per person) but we can’t comment on how these were. There is also an included drum circle and sand boarding activity.

There was nothing I did not like, all went to plan.

Camp is nice. Tents look good. They offer in the welcome message options of transportation (we took camel experience for the sunset & comeback by car).
Camp stuff was late with dinner, they forgot i was wegetarian (even though i reminded them just after appearing at the place) and gave me realy weak dinner, no protein. Because of dealys, they also started fire and music terribly late and to be honest, it hasn't met my expactions. There is air conditioning but for extra pay.
