Staff is good and helpful. Rooms are comfortable.

Location and surroundings not good to hangout with family and friends.

Nice big room in a hostorical hotel. The staff were very helpful, friendly, and accomodating. The common areas were nicely decorated and comfortable.

The area outside the hotel was the old town and very much 'hustle and bustle' and noisy. Breakfast was a little overpriced and we had to travel a distance to get to eateries and places of interest.

The property is a heritage bungalow. The rooms are spacious, and the location within walking distance to the riverfront is a bonus. The staff is very attentive and courteous, and ensures you are well cared for. The charm of staying in an over 100 years old vintage bungalow is a great feel.

The property requires significant updates. The mattress is uncomfortable, the TV was not working (subscription had been deactivated), and it is very small for a room charging Taj Hotel rates. There is no hot water, and the bathroom plumbing had leaks. The mattresses are hard and certainly don't justify the steep rates being charged. Since the property borders several old houses, there is deafening noise from traffic and children shouting from neighboring areas. So if you sleep late and are not an early riser, then be prepared to be woken up by noise & shouting.
