The Chapel

The location was perfect Tucked away and so peaceful Loved the fire & the beds were like sleeping on a cloud Never slept on a cloud but I’m sure it would be like this

If I was picky The sofas had a lot of dog hair on And the rug So I used the vacuum to remove as much as o could

1. Peter was a very pleasant and inviting host and was kind enough to lend us some tennis balls and offer us a drink in his garden. 2. The location was very good for us, tucked away from the main town but only a 20-30 minute drive away from most main attractions. 3. Many areas of the property, including the garden, were beautiful. 4. Extremely comfortable beds.

1. The bathrooms felt slightly unfinished. One had carpet and no windows, which didn’t feel entirely hygienic. The bedroom en-suite appeared damp in places. The age of the bathrooms and the kitchen appeared to make it challenging for all areas and appliances to be thoroughly clean and without cobwebs/staining/some signs of damp. 2. Due to the layout of the chapel, the upstairs bedroom is a long way from the downstairs bedroom, which is worth keeping in mind if you bring smaller children or children with additional needs. We did not feel we would hear our son if he called out in the night. 3. This might not bother everyone, but it is worth noting that there is a cockerel next door which can be heard very clearly through the bedroom windows, from about 5am onwards.
