House was very clean. Location was also good. Lastly, host was generous.

Casa de Ara was a lovely place for our Christmas stay in Baguio. The unit had a very aesthetic interior design.. cozy, modern, and thoughtfully styled, which added to the warm holiday feel. The bed was comfortable, and the smart TV was a great touch for relaxing after a day out. The space was just right for our group of 5, and one of the biggest highlights is its excellent location, just a short walk from Baguio Cathedral and Session Road, making it very convenient to explore the city. Parking was convenient with ample parking space within the building, which is a big plus in Baguio. We also appreciated the friendly and accommodating receptionist and security guards, who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The unit came with complete kitchen utensils, complete bathroom kits, and a reliable hot shower, which was especially comforting in the cold Baguio weather. Overall, Casa de Ara provided a comfortable, convenient, and cozy place to celebrate Christmas in Baguio City. A great option for small families or groups looking for a well-located and well-equipped stay.

Although the unit can accommodate up to 5 persons, it felt a bit cramped for our group. This may be due to the large furniture used in the living area, including a 3-seater sofa along with a lazy boy–style chair and a large ottoman, which reduced the available space for movement. We also noticed that the curtains had some stains, which slightly affected the overall look of the unit. In the bathroom, the space around the toilet bowl was quite tight, and the bidet was installed on the left side, making it less convenient for right-handed users. Upon arrival, some bathroom fixtures, such as the towel holder and tissue holder, were not properly fixed. My very detail-oriented dad ended up fixing them himself, which was not a big issue at all as he actually enjoyed doing it. Lastly, while there is ample parking in the building, our assigned slot was located at Basement 2. Unfortunately, during our stay, the elevator going directly to B2 was not working, so we had to walk up to Basement 1 to access the elevator. This is more of a building administration issue rather than the host’s responsibility, but still worth noting. Overall, these were minor inconveniences, but sharing them may help future guests set proper expectations.

So far one of the best apartment I have been in Baguio. It’s a good space for family visit. The property is located few minutes walk from Session Road and the Baguio Cathedral. The property has 2 rooms - 1 double bed room and another room with 1 bunk bed and spare single bed. It can comfortably fit 5 adults if you must. There is a single room for the sofa, dining table and kitchen all together. The facilties provided was great for few days of stay. They provided toiletries and sliders for the room. The whole apartment including the toilet is clean although with a couple of insects and mosquitoes which isnt too bad. They have electric fans provided as the room can be humid and moist due to heat outside. There are basic tools like blower and iron for clothes, they have plates and kitchen utensils too. They have provided coffee condiments and provided towels. The check in and out process is very seamless! There is TV for entertainment and good wifi for when you need to connect. The quality of the kitchen utensils are great and nicely thought off! You can even see the top of the cathedral from the apartment.

The only thing would be the noise on the road that can be heard from 1 of the room with a double bed. It is not noise proof so best to bring your headphones for sleeping. There is small toilet, and there is no laundry machine, but we can do so without.
