Ocean Front Escape on Palm Beach

The location was fabulous, the view was sensational, the apartment was lovely, it is quite spacious and a great layout. The kitchen has most things you need and plenty of crockery and glassware which I love. The resort amenities are great, so close to the beach and just a short stroll to Palm Beach shops and restaurants.

I dislike having to go elsewhere to pick up a key and check in, and 5 klms away in Burleigh Heads where you have to drive and find a car park is a huge inconvenience. The pillows need replacing.

We cooked our breakfast, some lunches and dinners and had it on the balcony, enjoying the beautiful view. The most memorable part was seeing the sunrise every morning, then walking down the beach for a swim. Best time ever!!

The view and location are excellent, with secure access, ample parking for 1–2 cars, a quiet and spacious apartment, and easy-to-book BBQs in the communal pool area.

For the premium price, especially in summer, the apartment lacked several basic amenities. There was no cooking oil and only table salt—no pepper or other basic spices. Pool/beach towels were not provided, which is disappointing given the building has a pool and is beachfront. We were also only given one towel per person, requiring us to do laundry during our stay. The apartment showed signs of poor maintenance, including stained duvets, holes in the ceiling, and a bathroom fan coming away from the ceiling. There also wasn’t a control for each fan in the individual rooms, meaning we couldn’t turn multiple fans on. Key pickup and drop-off are at an off-site location about a 15-minute drive away, so a car is necessary. On checkout morning, cleaners waited by our car at 9:15am, which felt uncomfortable, and keys had to be returned by 10am, which is quite early. Overall, the experience didn’t match the cost, and I expected more for the price.
