The hosts were very quick to respond (we booked last minute due to a cancelled flight) and provided clear instruction to get into the room. We had the pleasure to meet Francesco and he was very friendly and helpful.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The A/C was especially appreciated, as it is essential during the summer in Catania. The amenities provided, including shampoo, soap, coffee, and snacks, were also a nice touch and we used them.
Ventilation could be improved. On arrival, there was a slight smell of humidity, possibly because the room is located below street level with no windows facing outside.
The location is reasonably close to the city center, around a 15/20 minute walk. However, during our stay we had an issue with the limited availability of taxis in the area which can be inconvenient if walking is not an option.
