SamaSama Lodge Hakuba

A fantastic stay at SamaSama! Can't fault anything- staff were very friendly and came to pick us up from the bus stop when we arrived. They also dropped us off early in the morning when we needed to leave and catch a bus. Breakfast was fabulous and a great selection every morning- hot food cooked fresh and also cereal, yoghurts, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee available. Facilities in our room were great- we had a private bathroom, and the shower had good pressure. There was also the opportunity to have a hot bath at the end of a long day on the slopes (and the onsen downstairs which could also be booked out privately). The bed was ridiculously comfy and a stark contrast to the floor bed that I'd previously stayed in (at a different hotel when I came to Japan previously). Location amazing and a short walk to the slopes every morning. The Escal Plaza is also the bus stop for visiting other resorts which is super convenient. An all round top experience, and we will certainly be visiting Sama Sama again one day!
