NEW BOLICHES APARTMENT 2nd Line Beach with Parking

The apartment is very nice and newly renovated. It is in a very central location and was still silent at nights ( restaurant below makes noise until about 23 but not later ). I stayed a full week, and for longer stays the place could use some more towels but I dried them on the balcony so they kept more fresh. One thing was a bit of a hassle: the check in process. This place works like an Airbnb, but has more work when you arrive. Sending pictures of your ID to an unknown company with every other personal info is always a security risk when the info is not secured like with Airbnb or Booking.com. Who reads it? There was even a box to send a selfie but I would not and they luckily accepted it. A selfie? Also: sending an international deposit separately by IBAN payment is another extra job, and I did not want to give away my credit card number. ( Another risk by whatsapp or email! ) Luckily the deposit was only 100€ and I got it back a week after with no problems. All this raised a few questions and was a bit frustrating as I am a very experinced traveler and booking.com user, and normally it is not like this. But at the end it all worked out. I am still happy about the apartment and the customer service agent was very friendly. Thanks to her. I can recommend this place for sure, as it is nice for 1-2 people.
