Santana's Flat

The apartment is spacious and well-equipped. For the washing machine detergent, for the coffee machine coffee capsules were provided, not to mention the welcome package as a nice gesture. Margarida, the owner/handler of the apartment is increadibly sweet and response, waited for us in person upon arriving to show us around. Beside that an information book is also prepared for the guests with device manuals or shop and restaurant recommendations throughout the island. In-yard private parking space is a huge plus.

Parking was not the easiest and the safest as the apartment is located on Santana's main road. Both lanes needed to be used upon parking to navigate the car in and out of the backyard, despite the traffic. As we both washed some of our clothes, while using the AC continuously to keep the apartment warm, we created a humid environment, causing us some surprise. A huge cockroach running trough the kitchen - we were said that it is not unusual on the island when the weather is getting warmer, nevertheless, this was not so pleasant.

Tenía todo tipo de utensilios que puede haber en un hogar y un detalle de bienvenida que es de agradecer.

Todo estuvo genial pero como detalle que estaría bien incluir, un pequeño toldo exterior donde poder poner las toallas a secar y que no se mojen si hay un chaparrón.

The flat was perfect

I would highly recommend this place!It is spacious, spotlessly clean, with everything needed and with a great host! Margarida is great, the communication with her was easy and she provided help when it was needed!The location is perfect for exploring the island, very close to Ponta Delgada, but not so busy and crowded. There is a nice space outside the house, that is an additional plus.
