Casa Grande Homestay Anaviratty Munnar

Wonderful stay in Shany & George's litlle paradise, beautiful house in a middle of nature and mountains with spices garden. They are such a very nice couple, hosting us as we felt like at home. Big and comfortable room, good bed, balcony and terrasse with stunning view. Shany is a good cooker and provide us tasty breakfasts and dinners, made with organic spices from the garden, good chai with fresh milk from their cows. Everything was so perfect. I hope to come again. Thank you very much 🙏

It is best ever homestay i tried ever since i started travelling. I didn't felt that i am away from home. They also serverd breakfast which has authentic kerala flavours. If you don't want Munnar city hussle and traffic then you should choose this. If you are bird lover then you can just simply sit at balcony and watch hundreads of different species. They have farm also which has varieties of species, ornamental and fruit plants. And even they will give proper farm tour.

There is nothing such thing which i didn't like

Wonderful stay at Casa Grande. We stayed here with my wife and family for two nights. The place has been newly made in to a homestay so the family (very genuine and helpful) takes all the effort to make your stay as comfortable as possible. This property is quite secluded from the main Munnar town. It's a 5 mins steep walk from the main road but there are a lot of busses which ply every 15 mins. Since my aging in-laws couldn't walk much, they arranged Auto/Tuktuk for pickups from the property which was very helpful. Our main highlight was the home made food we had in the property, one of the best we had in Munnar. We also had dinner (which you need to tell them beforehand) with an option to have veg/non-veg food.

Die Unterkunft liegt 20km von Munnar entfernt an der Hauptstrecke zwischen Cochin und Munnar. Sie ist 5 Minuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt und liegt sehr ruhig mitten in einer Gummibaum-Plantage. Es ist eine wunderschöne Umgebung mit steilen Berghängen und tiefen Tälern, alles in einem satten Grün, wie im Dschungel und es gibt viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Alle Touristenziele um Munnar sind bequem mit dem Bus zu erreichen. Eine sehr liebevolle Familie kümmert sich aufopfernd um alles, damit man sich wie zu Hause fühlt. Das große Zimmer befindet sich in der 1. Etage. Es gibt ein großes Bad, einen Aufenthaltsraum und ein großes Esszimmer mit herrlichem Ausblick beim Frühstücken. Auf dem großen Balkon kann man sehr entspannt die schöne Aussicht genießen und Vögel beobachten. Shany ist eine hervorragende Köchin und es gibt sehr leckeres, abwechslungsreiches Frühstück und Abendessen. Für mich war alles perfekt und ich bin 10 Tage geblieben. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Bei Georg, Shany und ihrem Sohn möchte ich mich sehr herzlich für die tolle Gastfreundschaft und dem guten Service bedanken. Ich kann das Casa Grande nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen
