It was well maintained and if a problem came up the staff was very helpful. Great location

It was private and quiet. The mini golf course was fun for the kids. The camper was clean and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My 10 year old son asked for a broom to sweep off the mini golf course and he got him one (it’s the off seasons so we totally understood that things weren’t quite ready) but then he went and got the blower out and him and my son cleaned them off so we could play. I’m sure it wasn’t on his to do list that day.

A bigger bowl and one or two other cooking pans would have been helpful but we made it work just fine. That didn’t take away from the wonderful stay we had.

We appreciated the clear communication and the well-stocked RV! Maya was so kind and the check-in/out procedures were clearly communicated. The amenities in the RV park and in the Puma itself exceeded expectations. What a phenomenal place to stay! We spent two days exploring the Redwoods.

We liked everything.

This site was close to other things we were doing, which was primarily seeing the redwoods and the beach. We were interested in Cresent City as a stop on our road trip, but I can't say that was a highlight of our trip at all. Also the "Trees of Mystery"- meh tourist stop. Beyond this, though is access to the Jedidiah Smith River area and that is well worth every minute you spend there- even if it's time spent waiting for construction traffic to open up. So lovely! Our "Chalet" was a little trailer like thing in permanent placement. It had a nice sized fridge, a futon/couch a table with four chairs that was a little bigger for the space, but a sort of luxury to spread out on, with maps and guidebooks over breakfast. Cabinetry was newish in both kitchen and bath and in good order. Fluffy towels. Double kitchen sinks.

The place smelled like a stale Yankee Candle. It's a smell I find very unpleasant, so wasn't happy about that. The place had clearly been cleaned before we arrived, but cobwebs greeted us on the porch and doorway (just take a broom to them). The bed was awkward for me to get around, having hurt a knee before the trip and in the very limited space. At the foot of the bed is a closet with three sliding, mirrored doors which were somewhat out of track when we arrived. I chose not to fuss with them but it was sort of schlocky. The corners of the bedroom were grungy and I worried there was mold. My allergy meds held up fine, though, so that's good. There is, we were told, laundry on site but need the owner to unlock access to it. I just washed some Ts in the kitchen sink instead and that was ok, too. There was a very large assortment of plates in the cabinets. However we had to convince ourselves that the 1 inch deep saucers were actually cereal bowls. Since soup and cereal are often maintains of cabin-vacations, some serious bowls might be in order here. Flip for some new pillows, folks. The bed didn't kill us, but all things considered, it could have been much better.
