Charming 2 bed/2 bath apartment 0,3 mile to MD Anderson

The apartment was as indicated on the website. It was very clean and had almost everything we needed. It was our first time in Houston and the first time to be staying in a gated community. Unbelievable how safe we felt even while walking the neighborhood. It is close to the NRG stadium and medical center. Parking was a little tricky as you had to park on a spot that didn't have reserve on it. One night we came home later that usual and had to circle the complex 3 times before we saw someone leaving so that we could nab that spot. Everything worked well and there were lots of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. The host was very quick in responding to any questions we had. AC worked well. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. Beds were comfy. TV and internet were great. The only negative was the train crossing which ran near the apartment and the train blew its whistle at the crossing every 20 minutes or so even during the night. We got use to it so that we didn't always hear it while trying to sleep. The apartment was well maintained and had comfy, nice furniture. The washer and dryer worked well and was a bonus. This would also be an ideal place for someone with mobility issues as there are no steps to take to get to the apartment. This was a great place to stay and we would not hesitate to book it again when we return to Houston to visit our son.
