    We loved our stay at Durhan Beach Resorts! Virgin Island is peaceful and private, yet feels like home. The spacious villa was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids (8 and 6). The AC was a bit noisy but kept us comfortable. For improvement, a rentable fridge for drinks and a phone in the dining area to contact the Front Desk, especially during emergencies, would be great. Overall, a relaxing and lovely stay!

    The place and the facilities is good. However, there were a lot of instances where there was no clear communication with the staff. First, the moment I booked the room I emailed them and asked to be on the lower floor because we have a PWD + senior citizen with us checking in. When we arrived, they gave us the 2nd floor, with just the stairs. Thankfully, the room below us (ground floor) was available so they moved us. Secondly, pickleball courts... they highlighted their pickleball courts on their social media account several times and its one of the reasons why I specifically booked here in Durhan, however no mention about the charge. I was under the impression that it is for free specially if you are an in-house guests. One of the staff interrupted us in the middle of the game to tell us that I have to book for it and apparently you have to pay for it. Raised this concern to one of the staff and she intentionally looked for the endorsement on their social media (witht the rates) that was clearly posted a month before I booked for the room. Third, kayaking... Ofcourse there's a charge. We clearly asked the staff how much for 15 or 30 mins. He answered and we went for it (30 mins) charge to the room. Checking out time, I only have this kayaking to pay for. Totally shocked with the bill they quoted me in the front desk vs what was told to us the time we rented the kayaking. No Clear Communication. Additional heads up, there is 1 small table with no chair for an 8 pax family room. You have to ask for mugs and kettle because there is none in the room.
