Boasting new furniture, this 2400 square foot retreat with an additional 1500 square foot deck also features 180-degree views of Puget Sound from the living room through large windows that invite the beauty of the outdoors in. Embark on a culinary adventure in a fully-equipped, retro 60’s kitchen before gathering around the 8-person dining table, puzzle table, or wood-burning fireplace. As you gaze toward the ocean, you may even spot whales or other wildlife in the distance! The second living space, fondly known as the Tiki Lounge, is where the fun never ends. Sip on your favorite drinks from the small wet bar, challenge your friends to a friendly game of pool, and unleash your inner pinball wizard on our vintage pinball machine. For those cozy evenings in, kick back in the lounge area with a large TV, or gather around the tall game table for some good old-fashioned board games. We even have bunks for those extra guests who want to join in on the fun. Outside, you'll find yourself enchanted by the endless stretch of beach just waiting to be explored. Gather around one of our two gas fire-tables, where you can watch majestic ships sail by and witness breathtaking sunrises and peekaboo sunsets over the Pacific Northwest mountains. We now have an expansive deck with a large, covered area that includes a fire table with lots of seating, along with a dining table that seats 8. There is also plenty of other seating around our large lot to enjoy a variety of games like corn-hole, bocce ball, and red-neck golf (all kept in the breezeway shed). Beach access is available using our new stairs. Alternatively, you can access the beach at the end of the street. Keep your eyes peeled, as this stretch of Saratoga Passage is a favorite haunt of whales and seabirds, thanks to the abundance of sand shrimp (though this does create some soft beach areas). If you're an outdoor enthusiast, you're in luck—Angels Landing is less than a mile away from Saratoga woods hiking trails and numerous outdoor activities. Of course, a dreamy retreat wouldn't be complete without a good night's rest. That's why we offer three lovely bedrooms for you to choose from. Two of them boast new king mattresses, ensuring you'll wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. The main primary suite is a true oasis with its own sitting area and a bathroom featuring a super-size tub (no shower). The second master bedroom comes with an adjoining bathroom complete with a shower. For those who prefer the allure of the Tiki Lounge, the third bedroom offers a cozy queen bed (just a heads up, the ceiling here is open, giving it a unique touch). And if you need more sleeping space, the game room's bunk beds and a third full bathroom in the hallway have got you covered. But remember, due to our septic system, we can accommodate a maximum of 8 guests, regardless of age. Local Attractions: Coupeville, Greenbank, Langley, Fort Casey State Park, Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, Whidbey Island Distillery, Deception Pass State Park and Deception Pass Bridge, Fort Ebey State Park, Admiralty Head Lighthouse, Oak Harbor Home Truths: - This home is in a peaceful neighborhood with many neighbors living here full-time and we appreciate the respect and kindness of our renters. - Please note that infants are considered part of the total guest count under HOA rules. - The maximum occupancy is 8 guests at all times. Additional daytime visitors are not permitted. - This home is monitored by cameras, and quiet hours are 10 pm-7 am. - This home is not specifically ADA but is a rambler and we have added a ramp to the front door and grab bars in both showers for safety. - Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this home. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Beach access directly from the property is seasonal. During winter, spring, and part of fall, a locked gate is in place to prevent high tide damage. However, guests can still enjoy the beach via a community access point just a short walk down the street. - Whidbey Island is home to a naval air base. On a few weekdays each month (and occasionally in the evening), you may hear loud flight training. The Navy does not conduct training on weekends or holidays and typically publishes the schedule one week in advance. Parking details: There are 2 driveways. Street parking and gravel parking across the road are not allowed. --- The room configuration is as follows: Primary Bedroom / King bed Bedroom 2 / King bed Bedroom 3 / Queen bed Tiki Lounge / Bunk bed This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 28 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
