The important thing about the Arch Cape Escape is that escape is the keyword, there is no television there, no fire-starters, and few mirrors or clocks. Their absence is not an oversight, but a conscious choice to make our family's time at the beach a little less like our time at home and everywhere else: forget about your hair and the news, remember how to build a wood fire. Set yourself free! It's not exactly rustic down there, and there is free WiFi service, but it's definitely about being at the beach. Perched just above the water on Pacific Road in the heart of Arch Cape, this beachfront home provides privacy, peace, and stunning beauty. With breathtaking panoramic views of Castle Rock and the Pacific Ocean through a wall of windows in the living room and Primary Bedroom, Arch Cape Escape is the perfect getaway for families and friends. The airy, light-filled living room features a wood-burning fireplace and a large window seat that is just right for immersing yourself in a good book or gazing out at the ocean waves rolling in. There’s a lush courtyard off the entry and kitchen, as well as a large private yard on the ocean side, where you can relax in the comfortable lounge furniture on the deck while enjoying a family dinner cooked over the charcoal grill, or cocktail hour with friends. Complete your day by roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and watching the sunset over the ocean. This welcoming, dog-friendly home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and it sleeps eight. The Primary Bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and magnificent ocean views. The adjacent master bathroom features a tub/shower combo. The first guest room has a king-sized bed, a set of twin bunk beds, and a courtyard view. The second guest bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Both guest rooms share the second bathroom, which has a tiled shower, toilet, and sink. The spacious kitchen features stainless steel appliances and is well-stocked with all the equipment you need to cook your favorite meal. (If you find yourself needing to work or just to look up a recipe, the house has wireless Internet.) In less than three minutes you can be strolling on the white sand and combing the beach for seashells and sand dollars. During low tide, the exposed tide pools at either end of the Arch Cape provide close-up viewing of fascinating sea creatures. Just minutes away in the seaside towns of Cannon Beach and Manzanita, you’ll find restaurants, shops, art galleries, and much more. If undisclosed pets are brought into the home without AvantStay's approval there is a fine of $500 per pet. - Please be aware that both Wi-Fi and cell phone coverage on the Oregon Coast can be limited and may experience interruptions due to our geographical location. - This home does not have AC. - Please note that guests are responsible for providing their own charcoal for the grill. With our Concierge Service, guests have access to our tech-enabled services like fridge stocking, private chefs, massages, transportation, special occasion celebrations, baby gear rentals, ski gear, beach gear, and more. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs. As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation. Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees. There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions. As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards. IDs will be requested for verification after booking. All bookings over 30 days require a security deposit. We report and prosecute all Credit Card Fraud.
