The old wing of Drumhead Castle. Wat een fraaie plek! De kronkelende oprijlaan vanaf de openbare weg naar het kasteel zorgt al direct voor een fijn vakantiegevoel. Als je aan het eind om de rhododendrons heenrijdt ligt daar het het kasteel. De sfeer van het hele kasteel is zowel van buitenaf als binnen prachtig. De mooie ruime kamers als de keuken en de salon met openhaard stralen gezelligheid, rust en warmte uit. Buiten hebben we met de eigenaar kleiduiven kunnen schieten. Vanuit het kasteel ligt Glasgow, whiskestokers en onder andere de bergen Ben Lomond of Ben Arthur niet ver weg. Dank jullie wel Amanda en Ed voor jullie hartelijkheid!

The house was amazing! Really lovely decor and lots of space for a family of 7. The location is really convenient for Glasgow and Loch Lomond as well as being really secluded and peaceful. Lots of great walks right on your doorstep and fab views of the Clyde.
Only 1 shower which was a bit inconvenient for 4 adults and teenagers but we made it work
