Quiet location, beautiful terrace, very comfortable big beds with amazingly soft sheets, fully equipped kitchen, fast wifi, owner super kind and helpful.

The beds are large and really comfortable. The rooms are spacious and clean. It’s in a great location, close to the main spots in Thong Sala. Julien, the host, is a genuinely nice guy.

The house was constantly hot, and with no A/C in the living room or kitchen, those areas were basically unusable. At night, things didn’t get much better, the neighbors keep a lot of birds in cages, and they’re unbelievably loud. We even tried earplugs, but they didn’t help, and our 3-year-old refused to wear them, so every night turned into a struggle. Since the house is in a local neighborhood, there was also quite a bit of early morning noise, neighbors starting their day around 5 AM, plus roosters crowing. We had planned to work from the house at night, but the Wi-Fi barely worked until Julien finally managed to fix it during our last few nights. When I shared all these frustrations with Julien, his reply honestly felt like something written by ChatGPT polite but generic and he never actually came to check things out, which was disappointing because these issues could probably be fixed. He did respond to my messages, but to be fair, there were a lot of problems, and maybe he’d just had enough of me by then.
