Flower Fields Home - Appartamento Campo dei Fiori

The apt was very clean when we showed up & exactly how it looks in the pictures. The kitchen was well appointed. The extra sink outside the bathroom was very useful (we were 6 people). We arrived very late due to a delayed flight and the owner waited up to buzz us in remotely into the building. The keys (building key, front door, elevator key) were all waiting for us in a lockbox and there was an extra set of keys inside, which was very useful because we have teens who were out at different hours. This apt is in a perfect location to explore Rome, even just the cobblestone streets around the apt were beautiful.. I feel like I hit the jackpot, we had a great vacation. The washing machine and drying rack was very useful too as we were there 7 nights. The air conditioning works great. The room with the bunk beds doesn't have a/c but it has a good fan (they actually replaced the fan on day 1 because I mentioned that the previous one wasn't working right and was making noises, they were very responsive hosts!). The 2 main bedrooms are very large, which was nice

When we first arrived there was a sulfur smell coming from either the toilet or bidet or sink in the bathroom. I asked ai about it and they said it's very common in old European buildings if the water isn't used daily. So I ran all the water and put some toilet cleaner down the drains and it was totally fine after that. The living room isn't really a living room and a few times we moved a kitchen chair into the room to hang out. I think a small couch would be better than the two yellow chairs but the truth is, we were mostly out so it was ok. The yellow chairs were comfortable though!

La casa era spaziosa e ordinata, con condizionatori, lavatrice, frigorifero, cucina e tutto il necessario, situata nel centro storico dove ogni via era una scoperta e facilissimo spostarsi a piedi! Il check-in è stato facilissimo, tramite wapp e le chiavi tramite cassettina con codice.

L'unico piccolo inconveniente è stata una incomprensione con la ditta di pulizie, per cui quando siamo arrivati c'erano ancora gli addetti alle pulizie e abbiamo dovuto aspettare (dentro) un po', prima di poter utilizzare la casa.

Poor pillows :windowless third bedroom with bunks Nowhere really comfortable to sit and relax as sofa bed in main room looked good but was not great to sit on

Good location, you could get to know the main tourist spots on foot.

1- When we arrived to leave the bags, the accommodation was not clean. 2-Very small elevator for a family group. 3-Departure would be at 10am, but there was no tolerance, we were with a 1-year-old baby, who was not feeling well, we ended up delaying our departure by an average of 45 minutes. The Hostess rushing us all the time, people I don't even know who they were entering the apartment at 10:30 in the morning. Terrible experience in relation to this. We left the apartment looking like fugitives.
