Gangneung wi Pension

For people going to this area for the beach, this couldn't be better. The pension has a wonderful view, if you want to watch the sunrise, and is almost closer to the beach than the beachfront cafes.

It's not a problem with the pension, but the beach has flags for if you can or can't swim based on the weather. We had a short stay and most of the time, the red flag was up. Further down the beach, towards the port, when we were there the flags are more forgiving, so I guess if you definitely want to swim in the sea then it's about a 200m walk from this place if the weather is bad.

We had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful, with a stunning view of the sea, and the host was very friendly and welcoming. We especially loved the bathtub overlooking the ocean, which made the stay feel extra special. It was also a nice touch to find a basket with toiletries and fresh towels upon arrival. In the evenings, we enjoyed relaxing and watching a movie on the TV after a day of exploring.

A small suggestion for the future: the interior design doesn’t feel entirely cohesive, as some of the furniture and decorative styles don’t quite match each other. We also noticed a few signs of wear, such as some damage to the bed frame and the wallpaper. With a few small updates, the apartment could have an even more elegant and polished appearance.

Lo mejor de este alojamiento es la vista al mar y el confort de la habitación. La decoración, los muebles, la bañera, todo es muy recomendable.

+ Direkt inmitten der Anmok Straße + Sehr gepflegte Einrichtung inkl. Mikrowelle und co + Geräumiger, moderner und komfortabler Raum + Freundliche Dame, die mit ihrer Familie scheinbar selber im Gebäude wohnt. Spricht aber kein englisch, daher kann man via Translator kommunizieren.

- Leider ist der schöne Ausblick wie auf der Zimmer Beschreibung mittlerweile verbaut. Man schaut daher hauptsächlich auf das Nachbargebäude. - Etwas schmales Doppelbett. Im besten Fall daher für Pärchen :) - Der Whirlpool schaut zwar Richtung Meer, man kann aber reinschauen. Daher besser mit Vorhang baden xD
