Right on the beach

We liked the property

The location was great. The beach was not too crowded. It is far from popular restaurants and traffic makes it worse. However, the trade off was worth it to us for a calmer beach. The condo was a good size and had enough beds for everyone.

To start the parking was extremely tight. There were a few occasions where our neighbors had us blocked in. This particular unit is right next to the overflow lot though. The overflow lot is still a little tight but it is better than the other parking. When we got into the condo it was 88 degrees and the air conditioner was not working at all. Because we arrived on a Saturday we were told we would have to wait until Sunday or possibly Monday for someone to fix the A/C. We were advised to use ceiling fans and box fans until the A/C was fixed. We only had two box fans that are on their last leg themselves and the ceiling fan in the primary bedroom did not work. We have small children so there was no way we would be able to get them to sleep in a humid 88 degree room. We had to scramble to find a room somewhere for the night on our own and the property did not help us find a place at all. They did refund us for the night but only after I asked and it was not enough to cover a new place for the night. The technician did arrive Sunday and told us the only thing that he needed to do was reset the A/C for that particular unit. Turns out the entire complex had an issue with the main A/C system a few days prior and when that happens each unit needs to be reset individually. I'm not sure why every unit wasn't checked and why a unit that had guests incoming wasn't checked or if it was why they would leave it that way. It took two more days for the unit to get down to at least 75 degrees. Everything in the unit was dated. One of the beds in the bedroom with two beds was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever laid on. I was in the US military for 9 years so I have slept in some very uncomfortable places but that bed was at least the top 3 worst places I've laid on. There was zero patio furniture on the lower level balcony even though pictures vaguely depicted some. The upper balcony that's off the primary bedroom had three tall chairs.
