Faial Inn

We've heard & read many (horror) stories about the cleanliness of the hotels on the island. This apartment was very clean! The bathroom window has a metal grid behind it, no bugs coming in there. Even if you leave it open throughout your stay. It's a modern apartment, electrical cooking, even hot water for showering is fine... Atleast if you're the first one in the shower (the wife likes long showers... Which means a bit of wait time between shower sessions, with an electrical boiler).

The road where the apartment sits on is like really, really steep (as are many roads in Horta). During our stay, there were roadworks underway halfway down the street. So all traffic had to enter AND exit the street at the top. It's rather narrow. If you rent a car be prepared to do some tricky hill parking (even if the road's exit is free at the bottom). So yeah, the only negative I have to share is how steep the road is. Where you have to park your car.

Parfaitement équipé et gentillesse de la propriétaire avec qui j’ai pu échanger régulièrement. Petite terrasse très agréable pour prendre l’air

posizione comoda per il centro, disponibilità di parcheggi nei dintorni, dimensioni della casa buone , ampia cucina e salone comodo, camera da letto al piano superiore, terrazza utile per stendere biancheria, gestione a distanza da parte della proprietà, ma sempre attenta e disponibile.

il bagno...piccolo e scomodo, le finestre a ghigliottina chiedono attenzione nella gestione....il rumore della strada è fastidioso, abbiamo ( mia moglie ) utilizzato il divano per dormire lontano dalle finestre.. le scale sono impegnative
