It is a beautiful and spacious apartment and very well located. We were able to cook our own meals easily. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. It felt like home.

A vista da casa, a casa de banho dispõe de um pullibant muito espaçoso. Dispõe de maquina de secar roupa, o que facilitou muito porque fomos no inverno.
Apartamento muito central, perto de restaurantes e pastelarias.
O interior do prédio tem um cheiro a antigo e o próprio apartamento, apesar dos vários ambientadores, também tem um cheiro a fechado. A casa de banho tem um cheiro mais desagradável, conforme indicado por outros hospedes. Contudo é minimizado se seguirmos as indicações dadas.
Oferece um cesto com alguns alimentos locais: queijo, bolachas mas alguma fruta estava já com bolor. Deviam verificar o estado dos alimentos antes da chegada dos hospedes.
Gostaria também de salientar que o tapete na sala estava muito sujo.

You couldn't pick a better location for Horta. We were steps away from bakeries, restaurants, the marina, and a short walk to both the port where you could take a ferry over to Pico. We were also walking distance from Semana Do Mar, Horta's one-week yearly party with food vendors, free music, entertainment, and games. We were also close to a farmers market, park with swans and lots of benches, and plenty of playgrounds for children. The apartment was on the third floor and had a beautiful view of Pico and the Horta marina. There was plenty of space in the apartment and the host was extremely accommodating for us traveling with our 1 year old son and we were able to have a crib and a high chair added to the apartment for free while we stayed there! Also they had a dishwasher and a washer and dryer in the apartment which were fantastic!
The apartment was on the third floor, so you just had to get some exercise when going in and out, was a little difficult bringing our luggage up but nothing to complain about! There was no Air Conditioning, but there were fans in each room and if you opened a window on each side of the apartment there was a fantastic breeze, so you didn't really need A/C. And just a helpful tip, make sure to close the shutters at night so no bugs get in.
