#11 - Upscale Studio - Self Check in - Plateau - St-Denis - AC - TV

Location was great - wonderful walking distance to transit and many restaurant and shopping options in the neighborhood. I had requested a thinner blanket and softer pillows which answered in a timely manner. Also was asked permission to enter suite to provide service and appreciated this.

Kettle was corroded and needs descaling. Although tea provided there was no teapot. Window would not lock. Drain plug in sink - rubber seal was gone. Bed was much too hard for me.

We were surprised at the view of Mont Royal from the room and the quiet during Saturday night despite being on a busy road. It was remarkably easy to access the location and the room was very well appointed, with the bathroom facilities and studio kitchen better than we had hoped.

We were upset because of the policy for cancellation because we had thought we may have to make a change and we were surprised at the “extra” cleaning fee that was added when we booked but wasn’t at first noticeable when we checked prices.
