El apartamento está en una especie de patio que cuenta con una mesica y unas sillas, en nuestro caso no lo utilizamos porque realmente estuvimos poco en casa, pero es un desahogo agradable. La habitación y el baño son bastante amplios y las camas cómodas y en la cocina dejan productos de limpieza, cafés, servilletas ... que te evita el tener que comprar si no vas a estar mucho tiempo. En la misma calle del apartamento, con un poco de suerte, se puede encontrar sitio (nosotros la tuvimos) y a pesar de que la calle parece bastante degradada y puede, de primeras, asustar, lo cierto es que es tranquila (al igual que la casa en la que no se oye nada del ruido de la calle) y está a menos de 5 minutos del mercado y del centro monumental.

Aunque en nuestro caso no nos importó porque lo utilizamos más como habitación que como apartamento, la cocina resulta un poco pequeña, y la mesa para 4 personas que parece estar pensado el apartamento, también lo es. El apartamento resulta un poco oscuro, no tiene ventana, tan solo la puerta con cristalera. Creemos, realmente, que está bien para 2/3 personas, no mas y que mejoraría si en el dormitorio quitasen una de las camas y pusiesen un sofá cama o supletoria.

Posizione buona, vicino al centro storico

The location is great, very close to the old town. The apartment was beautiful and rather spacious. The beds were big and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathroom was spacious with toiletries, but the water pressure in the shower was weak, so it was difficult to wash hair. There was tea/coffee, and we were provided lots of croissants, biscuits, jam, chocolate, milk, fruits. The owners responded quickly via Whatsapp (they didn't speak English so we had to use translator to communicate). We could leave our luggage in their place after check-out for a few hours.

The comfort of stay was zero due to non-existing soundproofing. The noise was the same regardless of windows and doors being closed or open. Maybe if we stayed in one of the two remaining apartments it would be better, but this one (Room Mattia) was next to the flat with a kid that was making noise from morning until late evening (shouting, screaming etc.). It was impossible to relax in the evening after travel to Catania on the first day; it was impossible to relax in the afternoon after hiking Etna on the second day; it was impossible to have a sjesta in the midday on the third day - the kid was constantly making noise. On the third evening, there was even some party in the neighbourhood, and even earplugs couldn't cancel the noise completely when we wanted to sleep after 10 PM, which was a nightmare. Also, I didn't like that the owner urged us to rate them 10 on Booking.
