Fantastic villa, beautifully furnished and extremely well-equipped with regard to kitchen equipment and pool appliances etc.! Stunning view as well. I recommend a car to get around. Nearby villages are picture perfectly Greek and have really nice restaurant and shops. One of my favourite airbnbs!
There were construction works at the neighbouring lot (June ‘26) which were pretty loud at times. The lovely hosts were so nice to ask the neighbors if their workers could stop but maybe that wasn’t completely possible. Also would have been great if the general check in time wasn’t so late in comparison to a rather early check out time. Other that that all honestly perfect and we had a fantastic time and 100% recommend!

Our third year in a row to Crete, we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Anthos. It’s a beautifully furnished and maintained Villa, a good sized pool and lots of space inside and particularly outside, where there are so many choices of places to sit and lounge. The views down to the local town with the sea and mountains beyond are to die for. The town itself is very pleasant with a few shops, tavernas and two mini markets.
Not a dislike, but be aware it’s a 15 minute walk down to Gavalohori on a quiet road with several hairpin bends & a lot harder coming back up(!) - I saw one or two walking it, but I’m glad we had a car!
