It was clean, but the property is very tired and needs work on it.

Very disappointed, didn't receive details regarding getting into the property until an hour and a half after the check-in time. No working shower. If we had known about this, we wouldn't have booked. Told to tell them about the meters going low as per their instructions, and then didn't hear anything back. So my elderly parents sat worrying about it.

It was warm. Has a parking spot and a small garden.

Disheveled. It was like living in other people’s grime. This understand of it was a friend’s house who was putting you up for the night but not paying customers on holiday. No shower. Very dirty sealant covered poorly by tape. Tiles had been covered for an update. ( whilst it looked nice you could see the dirty grout underneath). Just really poorly fixed up bathroom. Bathroom cabinet needs updating as gaffer tape being used. There’s paint peeling above the removed shower with some black mould. The vent is closed with some black grime showing. Broken window opening. Very low bed. Metal bedside tables acted like a drum anytime you moved anything and walking up partner. Stains on carpet. Stains and dirt on towels. Filthy under the sofa ( we moved it to be able to see the tv a little more easily. ) The previous leaks from the old shower had meant the ceiling was in a state of disrepair which also was the case for the floorboards to left by the bathroom sink. Whilst you can see they’ve tried little touches of decor it doesn’t make up for the grime. This should not be listed and definitely nowhere near £110/ night!!! The ring doorbell camera was very incongruous compared with everything else. I took photos of everything if needed.

Easy to collect keys, and car space right outside the property, WIFI was strong and plenty of room in the house for me as a solo traverler

I was told not to use shower due to a leak, so 2 nights without a shower was disappointing, and house didnt feel too clean with dead bugs and crumps left in the kitchen. Nothing important enough to bother the owners for, but def impacted the first impressions of the house. really loud neighbours which is not the fault of the owners, but again impacted the enjoyability of the stay

Quiet and comfortable, home from home. Good facilities, shop and takeaways around the corner. Loved the trees and 'culvert' at the bottom of the garden - waking up to birdsong every morning. Good location for exploring the area and visiting family nearby. Friendly neighbours in quiet residential area. Nice walk through 'wetland area' into town centre. Enjoyed exploring Carmarthen. Loved visiting Saundersfoot. Hubby enjoyed a day at the races at Ffos las.

Lack of extractor fan in bathroom, but otherwise great.

Host was friendly with good communication. Made to feel welcome and at home from the offset. Good location to the town centre itself. It is easily walkable. There is also a handy shop just down the road, alongside a duel fish bar and Chinese takeaway. Off road parking space right outside property. We had all we needed to have a lovely home from home stay, plenty of space to relax. There is a good park not too far away for children or fur babies and plenty to see and do in the area. We went to the very beautiful Pembrey Country Park, which quite honestly captured a piece of my heart forever.. I would not hesitate to recommend

That our holiday is over

There were little thought full extras ie dog treats, dog towel etc (not that we took our dog), cotton pads in the bathroom just little things :) The beds were comfortable and the accommodation was clean. There’s been thought put into the place and it’s obviously loved by its owners but there are areas that need a little bit of TLC and updating. There’s a co op within walking distance and a fish and chip shop which was handy:)

The smell of the food bin sitting outside the front door as you approached the property was not the best. The bathroom needs updating for sure. The mastic around the bath and tap’s is layered on so thickly and is beginning to go mouldy. The bin bags full of recycling in the back garden were a little off putting and had we taken our dog we would’ve had to of cleared them away before letting it out.

Location and the accommodation was just what we needed. Shower was hot and loved that there was a washer. There was a local convenience shop nearby as well.

The bathroom and some of the caulking around the tub is needing to be redone. The bed in the master bedroom is very low to the ground. My husband had a hard time getting in and out of it. LOL.
