Disappointing

Good location, easy walk into town. Huge comfy sofa in the sitting room, TV with streaming services. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. Check in and out was easy. Period building. Simon was responsive.

If you are coming as a group of 2+ adults then be aware that the 2 single beds on the listing are camp beds, one of which had a broken frame and was known about prior to our arrival but not rectified. There were also various other maintenance issues which have all been communicated to the owners who have said they will fix them. We cut our trip short and were partially refunded. WiFi doesn’t reach the bedroom (thick walls). The places also needs a really good clean, grubby is probably how I’d describe it, puddle of milk in the fridge, food on the tiles, dirty worn cleaning cloth, grime on microwave, etc. It’s a shame because it’s a beautiful building but the apartment needs some TLC.

Filthy, unhygienic and neglected

When we arrived, the place was filthy — skid marks in the toilet, hair and limescale in the bathroom, food residue on the hob and toaster, and dirt and dust on the floors (we even found an old dog toy behind the sofa). Bedding was incomplete, and the cot we had requested wasn’t assembled. We complained after the first night, and while some cleaning was done the following day, this does not excuse the unacceptable state of the property on arrival or the refusal to offer any refund. The response showed no care for guests. This is not somewhere you can feel comfortable, and it felt unsafe for our baby. The lack of cleanliness and care made this stay a huge disappointment.

Great place to stay in Carmarthan!

Very helpful host, great location, spacious enough to live in. All mod cons provided.

Challenging to find on Sat nav, entirely the fault of mapping and my navigation!

Plenty of space, good value for money, like a home from home.

Good value for money. A large space for the money with separate entrance. Very close to the centre of Carmarthen. Comfortable bed, very large comfy sofa. Kitchen with all the essential electrical equipment. Nice, hot powerful shower. Books and games for the kids and lots of TV channels. Homely feel- it’s not pristine, but that makes you feel more at home than a hotel room does.

The parking. Being very close to the centre there is not much parking and the roads near by have parking restrictions most days accept Sunday.
