Namaqua House- Cape Comfort Stays

Centrally located and close to necessary shops and sights

The small hand basin.

The place is conveniently located in the city centre and close to almost everything we needed. Our room was cleaned halfway through our stay, which was great. The area can be quite noisy, but the windows did a great job of keeping the noise out, especially at night, so we were able to sleep peacefully. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider booking this place again.

Nothing

The place is in the city centre and it is very quiet. Everything is walking distance. I could see table mountain from my bedroom window. We received free heritage performances at the comfort of my room.

Location in the city was great, the view of Table Mountain was spectacular. Very close to the City Sightseeing Tour (hop on hop off) office. The Mesopotamia Restaurant located below the apartment block was great, their food is delicious.

There are many people just hanging around outside the building and others begging as soon as you step outside. It was a bit noisy. Although I booked a check-in time between 16:00 and 17:00 and called the day before, when we got there the Security Officer at the 'reception desk' was not aware we would be checking in, and nobody seemed to have known which apartment we had been booked into. The Penthouse Apartment we were eventually told we would be staying in was not ready yet. It is also 4 flights of stairs after taking a lift to the 8th floor to get to the apartment - this was not great for my 82yr old mom.
