Evaluna Apartments

Cumplía lo que queríamos

The apartment was excellent. Close to everything. Had all the necessities.

The freezer needs to be defrosted and cleaned. The beds are hard and need more pillows. Host doesn’t always respond to questions regarding his apartment.

The location was excellent. There was some construction happening on the street during our stay, but overall the area was good and conveniently located. We were a large group, so we booked two apartments. One of the apartments was newer and renovated, and we had no major issues with that one.

Communication and check-in instructions were confusing. Most places provide a document or clear instructions explaining how to enter the property or where to collect the keys, but we did not receive anything like that. The host only gave me the instructions over the phone after I tried calling upon arrival. It was never mentioned beforehand that we needed to call, which could be particularly difficult for international travellers without internet or phone access. We also had a very different experience between the two apartments. While one was renovated and in good condition, the older apartment was in poor condition. The additional bed was right next to the kitchen, the apartment felt quite dated, and the bed was extremely soft and sank considerably whenever someone lay down or moved. The biggest concern, however, was cleanliness. Neither apartment appeared to have been properly cleaned, and the rubbish bins were still full from the previous guests. This made us question whether the apartments had been thoroughly cleaned between stays.
