The room was very modern, the interior of the hotel was beautiful. We lost water for most of our time there but that wasn't the fault of the hotel.

The hotel was great and having a pool when bored was a good bonus. Soda Sanchez is close so everyone recommends that but it’s boring. Close to bus terminal. Not much to do IN Quepos, not anything of interest that’s walkable. Dead at night.

Wide Mouth Frog was an amazing, comfortable stay in Quepos. I got the budget garden twin bed room and it was a great option! I had a comfortable bed in quiet AC, with a hot water shower and daily pool access! I only stayed for 2 nights but they felt like relaxing in a resort; it is an oasis inside the city (I stayed at a more modest guesthouse down the street for the previous 3 nights but the loud fan and no AC was destroying my sanity; in comparison, Wide Mouth Frog was a godsend).
I ate the breakfast for the first morning but you can go outside the hotel across the street to Soda Sanchez for a way way way better breakfast for a cheaper price.
