I stayed at Akshay Beach Resort recently and overall had a pleasant and relaxing experience. The property is right by the beach, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for a quick escape from the city. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay.
The location is excellent, and the natural surroundings make it a great spot for those who want to enjoy the beach in a calm and less-crowded setting.
However, I was disappointed with how the billing was handled. I had booked through Agoda and the confirmed price was ₹7,862.40, but when I arrived at the hotel, I was charged ₹9,126. Despite showing the booking details, the issue was not resolved, and I ended up paying the higher amount. I felt misled and that part of the experience left a sour note.
It’s unfortunate because the stay itself was enjoyable, but this discrepancy and lack of transparency in billing is something the management seriously needs to address.
I would recommend the resort for its location and environment, but do double-check your booking amount and be cautious during check-in.
