Book this entire space and treat yourself to upscale repose at Velvet Woody - a boutique inn with historical distinction and modern comfort.
Located in downtown Okemah, Oklahoma – home of Woody Guthrie – this 1930s building has been thoughtfully restored with upscale western inspirations that nod to the places OK outlaws may have stayed while traversing the Wild West.
Enjoy this entire space! Ascend the building’s original staircase upon entering to a chandelier-lined corridor off which the inn’s six private rooms stem. Each room feature a king bed, private en suite bathroom, TV, and coffee bar with Keurig and mini fridge. Windows are adorned with velvet blackout coverings. The furnishings and decor - both antique and modern - were intentionally selected for each room with style and function in mind.
Guests will have private access to the entire space, including all 6 rooms and bathrooms and the kitchen and lounge. Two washers and dryers also are available for use.
We do not have an onsite host, but someone is available if needed.
We are in downtown Okemah, Oklahoma - home of Woody Guthrie. Right off I-40, it`s a great place to stop off for the night. Just up the street is The Mosaic Grind - great coffee.
Parking is on the street and check-in is contactless. Guests enter the building via smart lock, and room keys will be available in a key box inside.
Please note: Cameras may be in operation in the foyer and hallway.
