Tucked away as a private, detached retreat behind the homeowner's garage, this cottage offers its own fully fenced area, ensuring complete seclusion and tranquillity. Bounded by nature, it presents the perfect country escape while being just a short ride from Mudgee’s town centre. Soak up the crisp country air from the outdoor seating area, while taking in the pastoral views that stretch over the mountains.
Inside, the open plan living area is flooded with lovely natural light. The kitchen comes fully equipped for your holiday catering, and you’ll also have use of a BBQ out back, and a fire pit during the colder months. There’s a dining table for meals at home, a dedicated workspace and plush sofas to relax after a busy day exploring. Books and a TV are provided for your evening entertainment, while air-conditioning and heating keep things comfortable no matter what time of year you’re travelling in.
Get a good night’s sleep in the bedroom, where black-out blinds encourage a sleep in. It comes with a queen-sized bed and wardrobe space for your belongings. You’ll refresh in a contemporary bathroom, which highlights a walk-in rain shower and mirrored vanity. An internal laundry room with a washing machine adds to your everyday convenience.

Nestled just under four hours’ drive west of Sydney, the town of Mudgee is renowned for its wineries and flourishing food scene. Its winemaking dates to the 19th century, with notable cellar doors including Lowe Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard and Logan Wines. Meander the colonial streetscapes filled with produce stores, cafes and boutiques, and shop for local produce at the Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers’ Markets, held in the picturesque grounds of Robertson Park. While visiting the region, you can explore World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park, home to scenic walking trails, canoeing and kayaking tours.
