Casa Charme Lisboa

Was looking for a small place to stay with a couple friends 18 years old for 4 days. Really enjoyed the stay here. Place was very clean close to everything. Area very walkable close to bus stations, host very reasonable work check in and check out. Enjoyed our stay a lot will be back!

We booked this VRBO because it was ground floor and easy to access ( as my son has mobility issues) when we arrived it was easy to find and get into the apartment. Some positives were great communication, good price, great area and fit most of our requirements.We found the apartment not to be the cleanest, we had to mop the floor and wear our shoes the first night as our socks were very dirty. The blankets on the main bed had stains and it seemed very ‘wet’ inside. I know it’s humid, but the sheets felt wet. We asked for more blankets as there were only 3 ( thin blankets) and four decorative pillows to sleep on. The host sent some extra pillows and blankets in a uber. The fans we used in the bedroom were quite dirty and also when you opened the cupboards there was a musty smell. We rewashed the dishes we used. The frying pan was old and had burnt stuff on it, we made it work but our bread tasted burnt. There is also no airflow because there is a small window in the bedroom. This place would be ok for young people just needing somewhere to sleep after a long day, but not great for a family. As the couch in the living room is close to the door and very loud at night, traffic and street lights on all evening. There is potential and we made it work, but it is definitely not 5 star. The owner was great and the communication was fast and efficient.
