Experience the best of Bozeman in our beautifully decorated 1-bedroom guesthouse, located above the owners` garage. A perfect home base for MSU visits, downtown adventures, or ski days, this loft is ideally situated within walking distance to Montana State University, downtown Bozeman, parks, and trails. Enjoy a comfortable and well-equipped retreat that blends charm and convenience.

Perched above a garage, this charming loft features 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, with a pull-out couch tucked away in the living area, offering comfortable space for 2–4 guests. The bedroom is not an open studio and is separated from the living room by a hallway and washer/dryer area; however, there is no door between the bedroom and living space.

Neighborhood
The loft sits above a garage in the Capitol Hill Subdivision, Bozeman`s oldest historic neighborhood near the MSU campus. Main Street is less than a mile away, with excellent coffee shops and restaurants just blocks from home. Built in 1939, the house was renovated in 2016, including the loft where you`re staying. The lush, pedestrian-friendly area offers a serene retreat with beautiful historic homes throughout the neighborhood.
The stay is conveniently located only 13 miles from Bozeman’s Yellowstone International Airport. Additionally, Bridger Bowl Ski Area and Crosscut Cross-Country Ski Area are a short 17-mile drive away, with Big Sky Resort just 43 miles from your doorstep. Explore the stunning North Entrance of Yellowstone, an easy 80-mile scenic drive from the property.
In addition to hiking, biking, and trail running accessible from town, you can enjoy fishing on the nearby East Gallatin and main Gallatin Rivers, horseback riding, rafting, tours of Yellowstone National Park, and all the exciting activities that Bozeman has to offer.
Bozeman is known as “the most livable place” for good reason. Enjoy world-renowned fly fishing, and stunning mountains for hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, hunting, and backcountry exploring. Yellowstone National Park and abundant wildlife are also nearby. Getting around
Street parking is available with a provided pass, which must be displayed to avoid $60 tickets from MSU Campus Police. Use the permit to park within a 1-block radius of The Capitol Hill Loft. Nearby trails are great for walking or biking.
Getting around the rest of Bozeman and into the mountains is easiest by vehicle. While we do have Uber and Lyft, plus a free local bus service, you`ll likely want to get into the country to experience all of Montana`s beauty.
We understand plans can change, so here’s a quick rundown of our cancellation policy:
- Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in.
- 50% Refund: Cancel between 7 and 30 days before check-in.
- No Refund: Cancel fewer than 7 days before check-in.
- Special Case: Full refund within 48 hours of booking if canceled at least 14 days before check-in.
Note: A 4% processing fee applies to all cancellations (excluding Airbnb bookings).

Really wonderful space. It’s the perfect size for two people and the location is epic. It was a really comfortable apartment, really great that we could do laundry at the apartment. If I had one piece of constructive feedback it would be to get a different set of dining plates…I don’t know who designs plates to be intentionally not flat on the bottom but eating off of those plates nearly sent me over the edge.

This was our second time staying at the Cozy Loft. It’s a great location close to campus. Very comfortable and clean. It’s a great location for visiting our daughter at MSU. We were able to just walk to campus and walk to the coffee shop in the mornings. We would book here again and again. The host has great communication and checked in with us via text multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed.
