About this house rental
A quiet peaceful location with all day sun and restful lake and mountain views. This is a private hideaway where you can relax in the sun and then catch the water taxi into Queenstown for dinner and buzz. Its down a long driveway and is very quiet and private. All day sun means you wake to stunning views for a coffee in the morning and can come back home to relax on the deck for an evening drink and watch the mountains change colour in the evening light.

Newly renovated with a fully equipped kitchen you can cook in and enjoy a Central Otago Pinot Noir over dinner. There are two lounge areas and an outdoor deck to relax on and take in the views. The bedrooms are private with a leafy garden outlooks. The cottage enjoys panoramic views extending from the Remarkable Mountains to Crown Range, Cardrona, Queenstown Hill, Cone peak and the iconic Ben Lomond.

The whole home is for guest use.
Situated just at the beginning of the Kelvin Heights Peninsula, this home is perfectly positioned for water views, trails and is very convenient to Queenstown central. Its quiet and private setting in full sun all year. You can walk a few minutes down to the beach for a swim and sunbathe or ride/ walk the network of trails to Queenstown and Arrowtown. Walk along the waterfront trail for less than 10 minutes to the Hilton Hotel for a range of restaurants, maybe a spa treatment or evening cocktails.
Take a water taxi across or drive 15 minutes to the buzz of Queenstown central or 20 minutes to the quaintness of historic Arrowtown. Convenient to the Airport and Remarkables Park shopping centre (3km). The cottage is minutes from both Queenstown and Jack Point golf course, close to Coronet Peak and only 3.5 km to the Remarkables ski area entrance. Queenstown area has an abundance of things to do and this crib provides a convenient and relaxing weekend or holiday base.
This is located in suburban area so a rental car is recommended. There is a bus service and a water taxi to Queenstown central but the service is not frequent.
The gardener will come to the property to mow lawns and manage the property
No parties or loud music
Strictly no use of the outside areas after 10pm and before 7am as per local council requirements in this neighbourhood
The gardener may work in the garden during the day and so there may be noise from lawn mower and trimmer. This is only once a week and for 1-2 hours.
Use of drones is prohibited in the Queenstown region airspace.
Rubbish bins are collected from kerbside on Tuesday mornings. Red bin for rubbish and blue for recycling. Please put out Monday evening and collect as soon as emptied.
At the end of your holiday, please leave the home in the condition in which you found it on your arrival. There is a cleaning service as part of the hire but the house may not be left in unreasonable state or additional cleaning time will be charged. Please wash and put away dishes.
The BBQ must be left in the state you found it or a cleaning fee of $50 will be charged (its only take a few minutes to clean immediately after cooking - refer instructions in the house manual)
Guests are responsible for any breakages or damage during their stay
Guests are responsible for own insurance on your personal effects.
