Honored to be the first review for this special property, which is newly on the vacation rental market. I came here with three girlfriends, and we were all completely charmed. It's even better in person than the pictures - with a delightful interior very thoughtfully decorated and a lot of lovely outdoor gathering spaces. Emma is a welcoming and communicative host and has left behind a binder with a lot of helpful suggestions for the area. I wouldn't have discovered the beautiful Lambert's Cove without it after coming to the island for over a decade. I would love to own a home just like this on the Vineyard one day. Two things to note that might be helpful: Only one of the bedrooms upstairs has AC, but that was totally fine for our group. It was so cool at night even in August with the windows open and a nice breeze. We did have one friend who only likes sleeping in freezing AC, so luckily that one room was a perfect fit for her. There are also AC units in the common areas for the midday heat. There also were no cars for rent on the island when we came last minute, and this would be best with a car. The wonderful 7A Foods and Allen's General Store are less than a mile away - you are along a main road for part of it without a walking path - still doable on foot. Ubers are easily available even in the height of the season and the bus line goes right by here. I was totally in love with this place and feel so lucky to have found such a gem for our girlfriend getaway.
