About this house rental
Beautiful, open modern house set in four acres overlooking Chilmark Pond with access to private beach by boat across the pond or by road. Large upstairs open living/dining kitchen area with stunning water views and wrap-around deck. Light, comfortable master bedroom with en-suite bath/shower and large-screen TV with cable. Downstairs, three further bedrooms, bathroom and family room with open views over lawn to pond.
Air conditioning/heating with brand new mini-split units in living room and master bedroom upstairs, and family room and large bedroom downstairs.
There is a gorgeous swimming pool and deck set among trees next to the house. The pool house has a large gas-fired grill and further table seating, and there is an outdoor shower. The property runs down to Chilmark Pond and there are a kayak and sailboat available to use on the pond or reach the fabulous sought-after private Hancock Beach on South Beach. The property also comes with an exclusive beach key so you can drive down to the beach by road.
The property is in a beautiful rural setting with sweeping water views and lovely sunsets, perfect for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. It is well situated not far off South Road with quick access both to Chilmark Cornerways and West Tisbury.

This a beautiful modern beach house at an ideal location on Chilmark Pond. The views of the pond and the beach and ocean beyond, the birdsong, the flowers, and the quiet elegance of the home are all breathtaking. Anthony is an ideal host, both responsive and respectful.

Beautiful setting, lovely and pleasant furnishings, great beach access. Caretaker responsive. Upper floor is warm in summer heat - adding fans would help.

We had such a wonderful stay in Chilmark. The house was the perfect mix of comfort, taste, and weather beaten Vineyard charm. Breathtaking views of the pond, sunsets, wildlife, outdoor showers and dinners on the pool deck were highlights.
Ample common areas allowed for room to spread out as well as entertain our on-island friends. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy our surroundings. It hardly felt necessary to leave the house at all during our trip.
Our hosts were extremely kind, attentive, and helpful when an issue arose. They were able to resolve as quickly as they could and to everyone’s satisfaction. We’re very grateful and would love to stay in their beautiful home again…
