W Punta Cana, Adults All-Inclusive

W Punta Cana is one of the newer resort in the area. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. The staff at this resort are amazing. You get the true, Dominican warmth with each interaction. Special shoutout to the staff conducting the activities at the main pool, bartenders at Wet Bar and The Plaza, bell guys, room service crew, and cleaning crew. Our room was always spotless with sufficient towels and toiletries during our stay. The DJ and entertainment crew at 33 1/3 speakeasy did an amazing job as well. Overall, I give the resort a 8.5 out of 10. Like everything, there is always room for improvement especially at a newer resort. The two areas that are very important at an all-inclusive are food and alcoholic beverages. The food was overall good, but needs a bit of improvement. You are visiting the DR, I feel like there should be more traditional dishes with more flavor/seasoning. Food tended to be a bit bland at times. Lastly, the consistency of the drinks and availability of certain premium brands. Whisky, tonic and lime should taste the same at every location you order from, but that was not the case with several of the drinks. Also, some drinks and liquors would be available for example at the pool, but not at The Plaza. Overall, I would definitely come back and I would recommend this resort to family and friends. I believe management and staff are working hard to improve and live up to the Marriott brand. Cheers to a wonderful stay!

We booked the W Punta Cana for a quick anniversary getaway. The staff was extremely helpful from start to finish. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The restaurants offer a good variety of options and we enjoyed each different experience. They have two different pools for two different vibes but the daily entertainment was fun at the main pool. What we liked best about the property was how pleasant and accommodating everyone was. They helped me plan my engagement while there and were really helpful. “Cappuccino” and Baby A were super outgoing and always let us know the daily activities there, which was always had a variety of unique things going on. We also had the opportunity to meet a corporate employee, Dasa whom we chatted with a few times, she was the best. We will be back soon for sure! Absolutely recommend.

Really such a beautiful place and an amazing staff. Every single person I encountered was wonderful. I also really enjoyed the food and drink options. Highly recommend!
