Historic orlando Casita love, Lake Eola, Delaney park, 2 bedrooms 1 bathroom

The house is very close to the downtown (5mins walk), easy to access also the highway. It is an old home, nicely kept in shape and comfortable for up to 4 people for short time stays. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking.

The proximity to highway made it very noisy at night. The host provided earplugs and white noise devices, they were very useful and very kind to have these provided.

Cute little place, excellent location, great touch of having good coffee and everything needed for it included. Just a few minor things that can happen with an older place with charm: the hot water in the shower did not last long enough for a shower, the toilet was a little tricky to flush and make sure it didn’t keep running, and the screen on the TV in the bedroom was all messed up so it effectively didn’t work even though it turned on. Overall a very good experience that we would consider staying at again.

Parking was next to the property, had a washer and dryer, fridge, 2 bedrooms and a separate lounge.

When we walked in it was dirty, bits everywhere, found out later was mostly coffee granules on multiple surfaces, bits all over the floors in all rooms, kitchen sides dirty, coffee table had god knows what on it but it was disgusting. Yes fair enough the owners got a cleaner round within an hour, but had we checked in late we would have had no option but to clean ourselves or live with it. And after a major car crash and both injured that was not possible. Doors broken, bathroom door wouldn't stay shut, lights and fans hard to work, (needed to be shown by cleaner) steps up to the property was steep and unplaned wood so got a few splinters. Dryer took forever to dry clothes, no instructions for working the oven. Noise levels from the roads was horrendous, yes they left ear plugs but my husband can't wear them, so many disturbed nights. Notices asking to be quiet because of anyone downstairs, but on the last night we were there someone stayed in the property downstairs and heard banging throughout the night so both had an even more disturbed night And having been in Orlando for 16 days in roughly 10 hotels with not one bug bite, we both are now sporting many very large bites after this place. I cannot recommend this place I'm afraid as we found it to be very expensive for a run down place,seems to be marked as historic to cover the fact maintenance doesn't get done. Old places can be up to standard especially when charging the earth for them. Very disappointed
