L'Observatoire-Cité Médiévale

The location is hard to beat. Only a short walk up a bit of a hill into the medieval cité. The view from the upper bedroom window is spectacular. Having a drink and playing cards at the small table and chairs there, with the window wide open, is amazing (see photo). The TV setup is great, with lots of channels. The kitchen provides most things needed. Lots of nice bars and restaurants very close by. Very walkable city.

The communal areas (entrance and stairs) are overdue some maintenance and cleaning, as is the interior of the apartment. The floors of the apartment were filthy when we arrived, so we needed to sweep and mop throughout (see photo of the dirty water in the bucket). The ladder/stairs to the upper bedroom didn't feel safe and they are steep and narrow with no handrail. Not suitable for a larger person or someone with mobility issues. There wasn't much toilet paper available, and as it isn't a serviced apartment, we needed to buy extra ourselves, which we ended up leaving for the next guest. Nice pink colour. You're welcome. There also weren't any extra bin bags, and we weren't prepared to buy more of those just to leave there.

Amazing location near the castle. Spacious apartment. Nice and clean.

Stairs to top room are a bit iffy. The lighting strength in the top room is ridiculous and annoying.

Everything was wonderful! Impeccable accommodation, perfect location, and comfortable, spacious rooms.

The only uncomfortable thing is the stairs to the upstairs room; don't drink if you choose to stay in that room! Hahahaha. Impeccable accommodation.
