Appartement sous les remparts

We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is in an excellent location, just outside the old city walls which meant we had the benefit of being able to park the car nearby and could easily walk up to the town. We were given clear instructions on how to access the building before arriving. The hosts had thoughtfully provided breakfast and a lovely lemon cake, and there is an excellent épicerie nearby to get further supplies. The apartment was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. As advertised, there is a fan but no air conditioning, however the window shutters helped keep the apartment a bit cooler so the heat was manageable even though it was 40 degrees C outside.

Il y a tout ce qu’il faut, cuisine très bien équippée, salle de bains de luxe, très bien situé pour accéder au château et aux nombreux réstaurants

Plus petit qu’il n’y paraissait sur les photos ; il faut mettre à jour la brochure des restos - la moîtié de ceux listés sont fermés définitivement :) (pourtant il n’y a aucun souci pour en trouver un bon pas loin)

Very convenient to the city

Great location! Right on the castle doorstep and a short walk to the start of the Tour de France. The thoughtfulness of the hosts, even a lemon cake! Thank you!
