BAD, BAD, BAD
The location was interesting, with many restaurants and shops nearby.
NOTE...these are more issues of what we DIDN'T like
There was a toaster provided, but several time, the toaster tripped the circuit breakers and we had to search the apartment for the circuit box and then figure out how to reset the breakers.
The kitchen was very ill-equipped. For example, there was no cutting board, only one dull knife, no dish towels, no pot holders, old and burned pots and pans.
In the bathroom, there was no bathmat provided and the floor would get quite wet and slippery after a shower. As well, there was no wastepaper basket in the bathroom, only an old mop and pail. Finally, the shower drain emitted a very foul odor.
Finally, the street was very noisy, especially at night.
The issues with this unit started with our arrival. There were no instructions provided as to how to enter the unit. The front door could only be opened with a sensor key fob, which of course we did not have when we arrived. We called the owner, with no answer, and left messages, but we were only able to enter the building when someone finally came out. Our next dilemma was how to find the unit, since there were no directions. After searching several floors, we found the apartment, but we did not have any keys to enter. Another call to the owner was not answered, so we just tried the door and discovered it was unlocked and the keys were on the table inside. Thus, only by happenchance were we able to enter the unit finally. The next problem was with the keys. The key to the apartment door was very difficult to insert, turn and then remove. It took several minutes each time to lock the door and, afraid the key would break, we ended up not locking the apartment door at all, taking the risk that no one would enter.
The next issue was with the wi-fi internet. There were a number of modem and router boxes provided, but none of them would connect to the internet. We tried starting and rebooting several time, with no success. Messages to the owner about this issue were not returned and we ended up with no internet access in the unit during our entire stay, having to rely upon on our own mobile data roaming packages for internet access.
While a dishwasher was provided in the kitchen, it would not work, and no manual could be found to try to decipher the issue. Again, messages to the owner were not returned and we ended up washing the dishes by hand.
The oven in the kitchen had no racks, thus the oven was unusable.
The microwave worked, but the buttons on the unit were nearly incomprehensible and again, no manual could be found to figure out how to operate the microwave.

An awful stay; don't be fooled by the location/price - book elsewhere
This place had potential to be 10/10, but the management seems committed to doing a bad job of everything. The location is excellent and the flat size/design is nice. But as it is, I cannot advise staying here. Also, the same flat is advertised on Airbnb for a much higher price so at least it was cheaper on booking.com?
I regret staying here. The management was incompetent, unapologetic, arrogant and unhelpful. From check-in to checkout, there were problems. This place is run unprofessionally by a couple/family who are too busy to do a decent job or care or help. I travel a lot, and this is just about the worst place I have stayed.
1) Check-in: They made me wait in the rain outside the flat for almost an hour due to their own incompetence. They did not answer my calls or reply to my messages. Instead of a sincere apology, the guy argued with me when he finally came. My advice: when you have inconvenienced a guest, don't argue and instead genuinely apologize for mistakes made.
2) Checkout on booking is until 11AM. At ~9AM a cleaner came and management called (first time they were easily reachable) to say checkout is 9AM, which is not true on booking, but they still argued.
3) Very poor cleanliness. The inner blankets smelled like stinky feet. I could smell them all night. It was horrible. Management didn't offer to clean or replace them.
4) The bathroom was filthy and not cleaned before check-in. The sink was filled with water/filth and was blocked. I told them and they said they would send a guy the next day to fix it & clean but they did not. On day 3 a guy came and drained the sink but did not clean anything. In fact, he left it dirtier, throwing metal hairpins in the toilet. I could not use the bathroom sink for the majority of my stay.
5) The bathroom smells like sewage and if the door is left open, the entire apartment smells like sewage.
6) The refrigerator does not work. The light turns on but it doesn't cool.
7) There is no shampoo. There is no garbage bin in the bathroom.
8) There were ~80 cigarette butts on the balcony.
9) There is no doorbell to let deliveries in, which I needed to get my lost luggage back from the airline. No help offered.
10) Pictures on booking.com are not for the flat I got.

Vi fick ingen information om hur vi skulle checka in förrän efter flera påtryckningar. Det fanns varken wifi, fungerande tv eller fungerande diskmaskin, vilket alltsammans utlovades. Trots försök till kontakt via alla sätt som angetts har uthyraren inte återkommit till oss och inte åtgärdat något av felen. Köket var dessutom dåligt utrustat och porslin och grytor inte rent.
