We were absolutely delighted with our stay. Our host, Rita, personally met us, and as it was the Christmas period, there was a bottle of local wine and a panettone to greet us. We absolutely loved our stay. Rita would text us throughout our stay with suggestions for local sight seeing and festas which we found really useful. Casa Kanustera was more like home than a holiday rental. It didn't take long for us to feel like locals. There is even a fully stocked China cabinet. The shower is nice and large, with decent water pressure. There are ample water radiators throughout the house to keep you warm in winter. There is no parking however we did not have too much trouble parking our car. Bonus, if you need a hair cut, walk down to the local barner, De Pasquala :-)

The apartment was lovely for our family of 4. Our 2 young kids loved the kids room which was equipped with games, books & toys as well as beach toys.
The host was super friendly and met us when we arrived & as we left. We really appreciated the local tips from her!
As for the location, it was a perfect base to explore Lacco Ameno by foot as well as being a few minutes walk from the most beautiful beach on the island & negombo.
The bed wasn't comfortable for us at all.
