Locust Lake Livin Hot Tubfire Pitskiingpets

It was spacious and good fit for our family that allowed pets so our 2 small dogs could join for the weekend.

When we arrived there were a few inches of snow that my husband had to shovel off of the driveway and front walk. Not something that we should’ve been expected to do for the amount we paid for 2 nights. Also the house was listed with hot tub, which it did have but wasn’t filled to be used so the kids were disappointed.

Home is in lake community and has access to 3 lakes for swimming. Hot Tub is available at property and was clean. Nice house for the stay, plenty of parking, pet friendly. Property was available last minute - I booked at 10pm and arrived the next day at 4pm

Grass was not taken care of which was a concern for my pet as well as my kids. Fire pit was not usable and there was no dry wood - we were also concerned about snakes near the wood area (not stacked properly). House is in need of a deep clean, although general areas are clean, there are cobwebs everywhere, first impression is not good. Dishes are clean and usable but pots and pans were disgusting and need thrown away. Bed frame is missing a leg in the first bedroom - my daughter discovered in the middle of night when bed moved. Master bed is missing a box spring/foundation so when you get in the mattress is lower than the frame and to get out you pinch your leg. There were not clear instructions for disposing of trash. I was also not aware that it would take about 10-15 minutes to drive out of cabin community before hitting a main road to go to destination-not a big deal but needed to adjust our schedule.
