Hidden Retreat near Omotesando, Harajuku & Shibuya

Amazing Location. And very cute space.

Nothing. It was perfect.

We had an incredible stay! The location is unbeatable, with a 7-Eleven right next door and easy access to Takeshita Street, Harajuku, Omotesando shopping, Shibuya, and Shinjuku. The place was spotlessly clean, wonderfully private, and gave our family of 5 plenty of space to relax. Having a combined living, dining, and kitchen area plus an upstairs bedroom made it feel so much bigger than a standard hotel room. The in-unit washer/dryer was an absolute godsend for our family, and having both a tub and shower was a great touch. On top of that, the host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and courteous. We will definitely be back!

Nothing to complain about.

Compared to places where I have stayed in other countries this apartment was small and lacked amenities, but it is in Tokyo, so I give it a much better rating than I would if it were somewhere else. The location was great; in the middle of Shibuya, surrounded by good restaurants, and not far from a metro station. It was also completely quiet at night in spite of being a 20 minute walk from the busiest intersection in the world. The host was nice and helpful. It was well supplied with kitchen equipment and dishes and it had a washer-dryer that worked well. There is a 7-Eleven steps from the front door.

In most countries this would not be called a 2 bedroom apartment. The second "bedroom" is really a hall outside the main bedroom that can fit a bed, but you have to walk through it to get to the main bedroom. Might not be comfortable for 2 couples. There is one small bathroom on the first floor while the bedrooms are on the second floor. It is hard to find the front door when you arrive and hard to explain to taxis where to come. Best to direct them to the 7-Eleven.
