Sandy Paws

The location was excellent and we were very happy with our short stay. Plenty of parking available. The property provided most things we needed, including a television and DVD player with a selection of DVDs. The kitchen was well-equipped with an air fryer, kettle, microwave, toaster and a two-ring hotplate. We used the kitchen for an early morning cup of tea but did not use the other appliances. We stayed in October and were pleasantly surprised to find there is central heating in the chalet. Very peaceful we stayed in October, may be different in the summer season.

Bunk beds have seen better days. Unfortunately no bath towels were provided. Not a problem as I’d packed a couple of towels anyway.

We love this little chalet. This is the second time we have visited and the place is amazing. Cheryl (the owner) is so obliging and a wonderful host. The chalet is in a lovely position overlooking a wide green space and so quiet. What we like is that our small dog is welcome and, this time, settled in like it was her second home! The fact there is a small garden and fence around the property means the dog can come and go as she pleases without having to be 'staked' down with a lead. There was one thing I found amazing. We come from a city with light pollution from street lights everywhere and traffic whizzing on the main road. I let the dog out for a wee at about 10pm, looked up and the stars were so clear and bright - and all I could hear was the waves crashing on the shore - my idea of heaven!!

There is nothing to dislike about Sandy Paws!!

I love the location. It was right pretty much on the beach front. There was plenty of parking. The property was extremely clean, comfortable. The beds were fantastic, very cosy, I had everything I wanted and more my expectations were lower than what I've received. Thank you for a great stay. I will definitely look at this property again. For the future also, the host was good at communicating information.And she got back to me in a timely manner

I wouldn't say it was anything that I didn't really like. I would just say more to the point that I would have liked somewhere where I could have had maybe a washing machine within the property, but to be fair, it is quite a cosy retreat, and I think putting in something like a washing machine would really affect the kitchen. As the kitchen was a little snug. But at the same time was perfectly adequate for my stay.

Very good location on a quiet ,friendly site.

Lumpy duvet and uncomfortable bed. I slept in the bunk bedroom and had better quality sleep
