It is placed in the center of the town, but still quiet rooms. The staff is very nice and helpfull

Love the history of the place. Staff were lovely, very friendly. Breakfast was great. Great location.
Room was lovely but could probably have benefitted from a little freshening up.

Room exceeded expectations. Bed very comfortable and room warm and cosy on arrival. Much appreciated on a drab December day. Breakfast fabulous. I opted for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs,good portion,cooked just to my liking. Had drinks in the bar,great atmosphere friendly staff.
Nothing to report some patrons noisy leaving pub but was expecting this. Did get disturbed by bin collections but also expecting this.

Excellent central position and it was warm and clean. Otherwise not good value for £135 for the night.
Cracking a smile to welcome guests might work wonders for mine host. Ran out of cereal at breakfast and the avocado was unripe. The bed was awful - so uncomfortable, just an inferior mattress on a metal frame. Bathroom not designed for older people- no stand up shower and no grab rails.
