AIASTAY Bucharest River Apartments

The property is in a great central location to the old town and other historical sites and buildings, close to many restaurants and bars. Do not be fooled by the exterior/communal areas of the building- the actual apartment is fantastic. It is clean, bright, modern and extremely comfortable. There is a smart toilet which was great. It was nice to only use a key code so if you wish to separate when you are out, you can return easily to the accommodation without the stress of who has the key. The black out blinds are excellent, reducing noise and of course light. The size of the apartment is very good with good amounts of sockets. The hosts are exceptional- there was an issue but they dealt with it promptly and professionally with amazing communication. Excellent service and would highly recommend staying here when in Bucharest :)

If you struggle with technology, you might find using things difficult as it is super modern. I could not find any hangers for my clothing.

I liked the location, the smart home and overall facilities.

I didn't like that on booking there was a totally another apartment photographed and I was expecting that one. Even if the one I received had the balcony that I wanted and for which I was willing to pay more, the apartment was located on a lower floor, fact which basically ruined the whole view I was expecting to have from the balcony. So be aware, what you see on booking is not what you get in reality.

I have been into different acccomodations in Romania particularly in Bucharest and I am expecting a high standard of cleanliness in any property as this is the most expensive I have ever stayed in Romania and I was so dissappointed. The bathroom had a terrible smell adn found out the toilet brush is so dirty. The cleaner left a dirty towel for cleaning upon arrival. The towel also had a terrible smell and the quality is very low. There are several strands of hair in the living room. In the kitchen, they have left an old and used sponge again very low standard. The size of the bathrrom is quite small compared to orher accommodations as the toilet cover keeps opening due to its automatic feature. The property is a river front view with two balconies facing the busy road. You cant even use the balconies as it is so dirty. This property featured their balconies however you won’t be able to use due to its poor cleanliness. Inunderstand this property is in the old building and I appreciate the history behind it however they need to improve the cleaning standard of their accomodations
